| Drafting Economic Development Segment of Master Plan |
Assistance developing an Economic Development segment of a Master Plan to serve as a guide for future development and growth of a community and the basis for zoning. LSCP staff will work with your local Planning Commission to write ED portion of a Master Plan that looks at a community’s social and economic characteristics, natural resources, public utilities, transportation networks, recreation, and existing land use patterns. From this data and from public input, LSCP can help your Planning Commission develop goals and objectives to guide development in the future. |

LSCP can market your site or property for you using our Location One Information System (LOIS) software. LOIS is a real-time, on-line economic development site selection tool which offers a GIS-enhanced site database system giving a strong competitive advantage in the world of site selection. The LSCP will access, update and maintain the software loaded with sites available within the county, provide data at the city level and maintain a custom link on your website that will only showcase locations within your jurisdiction. LOIS also includes customized websites that showcase the advantages of your site and community. |

Organizing and planning that includes budgeting, establishing dates and alternate dates, selecting and reserving the event site, acquiring permits, and coordinating transportation and parking. Developing a theme or motif for the event, arranging for speakers, coordinating location support (such as electricity and other utilities), arranging decor, tables, chairs, tents, event support and security, catering, police, fire, portable toilets, parking, signage, emergency plans, health care professionals, and cleanup. |
