Education K-12

Marquette County has eight school districts with approximately 10,000 students. Schools and business engage in unique partnerships to prepare students for work or education beyond high school. The nationally recognized REAL Program is one example. In this high-school class, students have created a community credit union; retail stores; e-commerce sites and more, which are operated by the students. Another award-winning program is the Red Dust program, which is a series of written and artistic works researching the history of our community.
